Noyack

On the edge of Noyack Bay, the Hamptons hamlet of Noyack is in the township of Southampton and lies between North Haven and North Sea Harbor. Named from the Indian word meaning a ‘long neck of land’, Noyack is probably best known for the sandy beaches of Long Beach looking out at Shelter Island and the North Fork. Noyac is hilly and woodsy, yet beachy with open bay vistas offering a unique view of the Hamptons.

The popularity of the Morton Wildlife Refuge is what draws so many to the Noyack area for a day of hiking and the unique experience of having chickadees eat birdseed right from your hand. Trout Pond is an all-time favorite place to sit and enjoy lunch, take a cool and refreshing swim, or just stroll the trails surrounding the freshwater pond. Golfers enjoy strolling the links at The Bridge and at Noyack Golf Club before heading for drinks and dinner at MJ Dowling’s Steakhouse and Bar or Bell & Anchor just off Mill Creek.

When considering homes for sale in the Hamptons of Long Island, New York, Town & Country Real Estate has a property to show you in Noyack that fits your interest and Hamptons lifestyle, whether it be a forever home, summer house, vacation rental, or investment property.
