Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Licensed as Bradford King

Bradford King, known to most as B B King, is a native New Yorker having grown up in New York City. His family often told him stories of how a part of his family, the Kings, settled in Peconic during the 19th century on the North Fork of the East End as farmers and grew corn, potatoes, and tomatoes. Since he was a child he has been drawn to the East End, exploring and discovering the farms, vineyards, tidal pools, horse trails, the bays and beaches all the way to land’s end in Montauk.

After college, B B entered the highly competitive and challenging world of commercial real estate brokerage in New York City. He learned the fundamentals of real estate in addition to the art of negotiation, the importance of honesty, and working not just hard but working smart from men and women who were and are true icons of New York City real estate. BB was fortunate to represent some of New York’s most prominent landlords and tenants while specializing in retail leasing.

His passion for residential and commercial real estate brokerage continues today -- he can be found in the Southampton Office of Town & Country Real Estate. T&C’s many offices and reach grant B B’s clients and customers access to all the finest properties from ocean front to in town estates to vineyards, wineries, and farms or perhaps just a small cottage for a weekend getaway to a commercial or retail property. Perhaps his biggest assets for his clients is his experience as a tough and seasoned negotiator learned in the trenches of New York City real estate and his ability to listen to his client’s needs.

B B met his future wife Mary, a Latina from Venezuela, when he was in college. They have a son, Harrison, who graduated from Cornell and is now an investment banker in New York City. Alongside his family B B enjoys walking the vineyards and hand-picking grapes during harvest season, horseback riding, visiting with local farmers, winery owners, ranchers and fishermen, attending dressage and jumping events in the Hamptons, and fishing for fluke in Peconic Bay. For his workouts, both mental and physical, B B continues to hone his skills in sparring and meditation as a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, the Korean art of self-defense.

I have known Bradford ( B B ) King since 1987 when Brad walked into my restaurant, I Tre Merli in SoHo, NYC and said to me “ Our common friend Andrea says you need a real estate broker who knows NYC like a native and who can handle negotiations with NYC landlords.
