Being a college graduate, well traveled, and a lead producer for companies specializing in luxury helps real estate salesperson Kristine Argrio's clients make just, professional, and valuable decisions on whatever property they are selling or buying.
Like many Covid families who have permanently relocated from other parts, Kristine's parents also came out from NYC back in 1990 to help open a business in Southampton leaving behind their different careers in Manhattan. After their first summer out here her mother made the decision to raise the family here, in the Hamptons permanently after living in New York City since 1970’s. Country life out here was a healthier and safer place to raise her then 2 year old daughter.
Now many years, several properties and multiple business’ later Kristine's father is a friendly face to many locals in the Hampton Bays, East Quogue Community. Her family business is rooted in garments, real estate, and culinary ventures.
Kristine went to Hampton Bays School District and graduated in 2006 with only 120 graduates. She is accustomed to the “small town” feel and, even now many years later as the town of Southampton has expanded, remains loyal to her connections and partnerships commercially and personally. Upon graduating with a B.A in Psychology and minor in Philosophy from the State University of New York at Buffalo, she's worked for and continued partnerships with The Retreat.
Kristine graduated in May from the Southampton Town Police Academy and participates in alumni events and meetings with the department and fellow classmates. These connections have proven valuable as the class and other civilians in the academy shed light to current events and happening occurring in our community from Eastport to Sagaponack.
Other community involvements include marketing the “Community Drive” with fellow alumni from class of 2006. This drive is extremely important as it is in combination with the school department in order to stop hunger, especially hungry children in our local neighborhoods.
Kristine is an advocate and was on the Host Committee this summer for the Re-Mission Foundation dedicated to bringing awareness to Cervical Cancer Treatments and Cures. She was proud to join in this humanitarian effort as growth in women's health and children prove to be critical as we enter unprecedented times related to diseases.
Every year she attends the largest Gem and Mineral Show in the whole world in Arizona where she acts as a buyer for her private collection of artifacts and lifestyle home decor. Buying for her collections and gaining inspiration for home design also contributes to her knowledge of interior design, art, and craftsmanship. She has an excellent eye for catering to clients personal style and loves the artistic process that goes behind living “Out East.” She enjoys designing and partnering with local artisans, builders, and engineers as she works on her own home, which she just purchased in Shinnecock Hills.
Personally, Kristine is comfortable around all sorts of different people. With Family and Friends deeply rooted in the area, not only does she have geographical knowledge of our land but commercial experience from Westhampton Beach to Montauk and up to the North Fork in Greenport.
Understanding the different needs of a seasonal customer versus a year-round client is easy for her as she’s worked with so many people from different walks of life in our area.
Kristine is currently running for Team Cassidy through Alex Lemonade. She hopes to run/cycle 100 Miles for Pediatrics Cancer Awareness Month this September. Other partnerships and fundraising efforts that she has led in the last 12 years were for Lucia’s Angels, Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital, ARF of the Hamptons where she is participating in the annual walk to the beach this October in East Hampton with her family, Kent Animal Shelter, Southampton Animal Shelter, Peconic Land Trust, Children’s Museum of the East End, Ed and Phyllis Wellness Institute for Southampton Hospital, and just recently she's combined forces with Ola organization and is helping with the Latin Film Festival this year.
Kristine is a member of HNFRA.
Having children has given her the opportunity to relive the “best of the best” the east end has to offer. With a swimsuit, beach towel, and yoga mat always on hand, everyday is a fun adventure. She hopes to enjoy some more beach days and boat days before the end of the season.
