If you are fortunate enough to work in the beautiful Village of East Hampton, you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to hear the bells of the First Presbyterian Church. That is if you are, once again, lucky enough to be outside at noon and at 5 on any given day or, better yet, every day.

These carillon church bells chime out from the elegant white steeple that rises high above the statuesque trees lining Main Street. Various melodies are played, all of which bring pleasure and serenity to those passing anywhere within earshot. At noon, indicating mid-day, and a 5:00 p.m. indicating the end of a traditional work day, people smile as they listen to the soothing notes falling upon their ears and, hopefully, take note that they are among the lucky.

Take a minute to listen to the bells in the Village of East Hampton — you will appreciate what you hear.
