With over three decades of experience as a real estate professional in the Hamptons, Judi Desiderio, CEO and President of Town & Country Real Estate, has witnessed monumental changes in the industry and the landscape. Despite the challenges posed by the tumultuous market, Judi founded Town & Country Real Estate in late 2005, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and deep love and knowledge of the real estate industry and associates.
Judi has brokered thousands of transactions throughout her storied career, encompassing a diverse range of property types, from commercial investments to vacation homes and everything in between. Her extensive hands-on experience and her network of buyers and sellers make her an invaluable resource for her clients. It is no surprise that nearly 100% of her business is generated through repeat clients and referrals.
She has personally subdivided bulk acreage, designed and built homes from the ground up, renovated pre-existing structures, and invested in commercial properties throughout the Hamptons and North Fork obviously believing in the growth potential of, as she calls it, East End Dirt.
Judi's success as a licensed real estate broker began in the sales of high-end homes, land, and commercial properties and continued to grow when she became a partner at Cook Pony Farm Real Estate. There she and her partners expanded the company to ten offices spanning the East End and significantly increasing the number of associates. Over 25 years ago Judi began reporting on real estate statistics. She is regularly quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other notable publications discussing real estate trends and market fluctuations.
With an undergraduate degree from Cortland State and a Master's degree from Adelphi University, Judi has a passion for teaching and empowering others in the industry to reach their full potential. In her leisure time, Judi enjoys East End living with her husband John Tracy, a second-generation New York City firefighter, and their two sons, Drew and Jack, and now her two granddaughters, Ryann and Izzy.
For Judi Desiderio, the dynamic and ever-changing nature of the real estate industry is what makes it so compelling. In her words, "No two days are ever the same. It's never boring!"
